iPad 3 : Launch on March 7?
There have been lot of rumors around indicating that iPad 3
will appear soon on March 7 . The information came up from iMore blog
indicating that this information has come up from the reliable source . From he
same source it has been revealed that Apple’s next tablet would be powered by “quad-core processor” and will include
the retina (2048x 1536) display .
The clue has come that LTE connectivity would be offered by
the device . In this series of speculations we also have that iPhone 5 will be
a LTE handset . But Rene Ritchi has said that they are not sure which of the
two (iPad or iPhone) will get it . The assurance is because “All Things D” also
came up with the announcement that iPad 3 will come up in first week of March .
Wall street Journal
was the basis of the above story and also revealed that Apple is working on the
new iPad technology where they will reduce the size of the from 9.7 to 8 inches
with the same resolution as being offered to the 9.7 .
Earlier in January iLounge’s Jeremy Horowitz’s revealed hat
iPad 3 would be working with a thicker , beefed up camera . He also added (as
could be understood from the source) that it would be having high-def screen
(supporting Retina display) but would be shipping iPad 3 a the price of iPad 2
i.e. US $ 399 .
However all the above can be confirmed only after March 7 . iPad 3 at the price of iPad 2 is
possible however 8 inch iPad appears
tough .In current scenario of technology
nothing is impossible .
Life-Book : By Fujitsu
Rapid changes in technology each day and more and more
cropping up each day . Many tech lovers
around we are filled with loads of ideas and a same has made
the foundation for the Fujitsu lifebook .
Prashant Chandra a participant at the competition held by
Fujitsu(2011) came up with the concept known as “Lifebook 2013” .
Basically lifebook is a single platform where the devices
such as samrtphone , laptop, tablet and
digital camera will unite .In a manner so that the memory of the devices
will not be wasted .
“Lifebook 2013 ”
would be a tablet that would have slots
for various smart devices (not for standard connectivity) .On attaching a
device all it’s data would be seen on the laptop and the laptop would use the
processor to run some of it’s functions .
On attaching the digital camera to the front of the laptop
we would have all the images downloaded to the device . Similarly on attaching
a smartphone or an mp3 player we will have all the music available on the phone
to be played though the laptop .
The tablet will turn automatically into the laptop as it
will have the keyboard in it . It would be like a single tablet performing
multiple functions for multiple devices .
This will definitely reduce the hardware wastage and mostly
will save the memory that is wasted because of the multiple storage of the same
information at the different locations .
This revolution is making way for the new technological advancements , however there is limit on the attachment
devices currently .

Android of 2012
More phones and tablet’s
We'll see a lot of new Android phones and tablets in
2012, many of which will be high-profile devices like Samsung's new Galaxy S
III phone .
To be specific we will see
Quad-core Tablets
Quad-core processor by Nvidia powered
Trasformer Prime in the last month and is expected to support more devices in the
coming year .Dual core is not going out but we have a new top tier established
.
Quad-core phones
The technology will no longer be limited to
tablets only but will be making it’s way to the mobile technology . Qualcomm has a quad-core chip of its own in the works, too,
and reportedly plans to ship phones with the
processor by the end of the year.
HTC edge is expected to be the first
phone using the Quad-core processor .
Ice Cream Sandwich on many more phones -- and
tablets, too.
Watch for a slew of upgrades toAndroid 4.0 as the year rolls on, with both phones and tablets tasting
Google's latest creation . If
past Android upgrades are any indication, once that first wave of rollouts gets
underway, the pace will start to pick up pretty quickly.
Google TV
Samsung and LG are working on new "smart
televisions" built around the Google TV platform. Whether they'll fare
better than the initial Google TV offerings remains to be seen, but one way or
another, something fresh
should be coming along soon.
Android-powered appliances
A new initiative called "Android @
Home" promises to bring Android-connected appliances into our lives, with
everything from lights to dishwashers interacting directly with our Android
devices. As they didn’t turned up last year so it is expected to come up this
year anytime .
An Android upgrade alliance
Android Upgrade Alliance (a creation of
Google) the group was said to be a
collection of carriers and manufacturers -- initially including Verizon, HTC,
Samsung, Sprint, Sony Ericsson, LG, T-Mobile, Vodaphone, Motorola, and AT&T
-- that would commit to providing timely OS upgrades for all new phones and
tablets during their first 18 months on the market. Not much has come up on
this although some manufacturers are providing updates and others not as the
phones become obsolete .
Jelly beans : Android 5
We'll probably see some incremental
upgrades to ICS over the months to come. Google frequently rolls out fixes and
feature additions to its Android platforms in between the major launches, and
odds are, ICS will be no exception.

Samsungs With New Bada OS

Samsung already has made place for itself in he market by the help of it's Galaxy series. To make a difference in the market they have now planned to come up with the all new Samsung S 8600 which is a third generation of Samsung phones. Already Samsung Wave has made its name in the market because of it's earlier generations.
As the market is currently overloaded with the Android based phones will Samsung's wave would grab a position?
To answer his let us have a view on the certain features of it.
1. Bada O.S. 2.0(This is the latest version of the Bada O.S.that can hold it's end against the Android. Hardware friendly and running on the single core and showing dashing performance even with 1.4 GhZ Snapdragon. )
2. Bigger and better 4" 16m-color SuperANMOLED capacitive touchscreen , WVGA(480 x 800 pixels) & scratch resistant.
3. Slim and solid body with good audio and video quality and both audio and video command recognisation.
4. Built –in GPS receiver with A-GPS, digital compass and Samsung LBS powered by ROUTE 66.
5. 5 MP autofocus camera with flash and 720 video recording at 30 fps
6. Dix/Xvi/H.264/MKV video support.
These are some of the benefits of the phone. Along wih he listed above features it is providing a feature of Chaton (The new messaging service).
The benefits are wide and will evolve with the evolution of the O.S.This is putting a limit on the applications available to the people.along with these Card Slot is not swappable and no smart dialing any more. SatNav software although good but is available only for a trial period of 30 days.
Again we are left with the question on the success of the product as it depends upon the users choice of the phone. As Samsung is only willing to make a difference.
